Symposium Presentation: “Water in Iowa”
Connie Mutel of IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering is the keynote speaker for the Center for Prairie Studies Water Symposium in Grinnell Iowa. Her program is “Water in Iowa: From Gift to Curse and Back Again.”
This two day symposium (April 6-7) is titled, Iowa’s Troubled Waters: The Challenges of Quality and Quantity. It will examine the causes and economic and social consequences of severe recent floods, surface and ground water impairment, and disruptions to hydrology.
