Services provided by IFC:
The Iowa Flood Center (IFC) would partner with NOAA and the NWS to create an institute to better serve the public with improved flood forecasts and other water- and flood-related services. The ultimate goal would be to improve streamflow forecasting and other flood-related products nationwide.

This project would provide improved weather and water services for the public in cooperation with NOAA and the NWS. The IFC’s work would complement and enhance the services provided by the NWS.
