Graduate Student IFC person cameo image I am a PhD student at the Iowa Flood Center. My research focuses on the temporal and spatial variability of Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite data and its implementation, comparing it with other Iowa soil moisture data sources. I finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Tabriz in 2012, and my MSc studies at the Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering Laboratory at Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) in 2014. My research mainly related to fluid dynamics; I studied the wave power potential of the Aegean Sea.
