Graduate Student IFC person cameo image I am a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Iowa, as well as a graduate research assistant at IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering and the Iowa Flood Center, where I work with Professor Witold F. Krajewski. I am studying the spatiotemporal variability of rainfall events and trying to improve the accuracy of remote-sensing rainfall products, such as weather radars with quantitative and qualitative analyses. I am from South Korea, and earned a BS and an MS with a dissertation on climate change effects on water resources from the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Pukyong National University in South Korea.
