Research Assistant IFC person cameo image I am a GIS analyst for the Iowa Floodplain Mapping Project. My duties include the creation of custom Python scripts to create depth and scour grids and the application of GIS programs to aid in the production of floodplain DFIRM maps. I have a PhD in archaeology from the University of Central Lancashire, an MSc in GIS and spatial analysis in archaeology from University College London, and a BA in anthropology from the University of Iowa. I am the GIS group lead for the University of Iowa.
