I work in the area of hydroinformatics, specifically on geospatial data analysis, as well as web-based flood damage and loss estimation systems for urban and agricultural areas. I am developing a geographic information and visualization system for Homeland Security under the guidance of Professor Ibrahim Demir. I am originally from Trabzon, Turkey. I earned a BS in civil engineering from Cumhuriyet University (2013), and an MS in hydraulics and water resources from the University of Iowa (2017).
