This publication explores the accuracy of the equation used to determine net evapotranspiration. Four study sites covered with corn, soybeans, and prairie in central Iowa between 2007-2012 were used in the experiment to understand the impact of minor energy components on evapotranspiration. Based on findings, the formula for determining net evapotranspiration should be revised to consider the impact of minor energy components.
