Local, State Officials Hope to Learn from Missouri River Flooding

Local and state officials say they too plan to learn from the flooding along the Missouri River, just as they’ve shared their experiences from Eastern Iowa’s record floods of 2008. … The Iowa Flood Center, housed at the UI, also was quick to help out in western Iowa, and to study what’s happening.
