The Iowa Flood Center (IFC) will hold two informational webinars to launch its newly updated Iowa Flood Information System (IFIS).

The first webinar will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, at 10:30 a.m., with a repeat session on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 3:30 p.m. The webinars are free and open to all interested persons.

The webinars will be hosted online using Elluminate Live web conferencing software. Java 6 must be installed for you to successfully join the webinar; it is available for free download.  A “set up” session is listed prior to each webinar.  Individuals who are not familiar with Elluminate Live may use this opportunity to make sure they don’t have any problems.  An IFC staff member will be available at that time to answer questions about Elluminate Live or to help trouble-shoot.
