Association of State Floodplain Managers Annual Conference

June 7 @ 8:00 am - June 11 @ 5:00 pm

IFC Director Witold Krajewski

June 7 – 11, 2020

ASFPM’s 44th annual national conference in Fort Worth, TX
“Resiliency Where The West Begins”

The ASFPM annual conference is recognized as the most important floodplain conference in the United States year after year. With more than 120 speakers and 1,200 participants, they are the national conferences all community, state, and federal floodplain managers plan to attend. And because of that, many of the most important consulting firms and product vendors associated with floodplain management attend.

In recent years, attendance has had about an equal number of private, local, state, and federal participants from all over the U.S. and several foreign countries.

Iowa Flood Center Director Witold Krajewski will present during a concurrent session to describe the IFC’s history, highlight key projects and activities, and share what others can learn from the nation’s only academic flood-related research center in the country. For more information, contact Breanna Shea (breanna-shea@uiowa.edu).

Please note, due to COVID-19 there may be changes to the conference format and agenda. View the conference website to stay informed of scheduling changes, https://asfpmconference.org/conference.
