Educating Iowans

Researchers, staff, and students at the Iowa Flood Center love getting out in the community to talk to Iowans about floods and how we can all be better prepared for flooding. We engage in many outreach activities to share information about the IFC’s resources and community-specific tools with individuals and communities across the state.

In addition to the events and activities below, Iowa Flood Center staff regularly visit and present to school groups and community organizations throughout Iowa.
