Insights into Expected Changes in Regulated Flood Frequencies due to the Spatial Configuration of Flood Retention Ponds

This paper investigates how different geographic configurations of small flood storage ponds affect the peak discharge at different locations in the basin. The insights obtained from this study can be used in designing an optimal spatial configuration of ponds for flood mitigation purposes.
