Munsung Keem

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Iowa and a graduate research assistant at IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering and the Iowa Flood Center working with Professor Witold F. Krajewski. As a member of the Iowa Flood Center, I am studying the spatiotemporal variability of rainfall events and trying to improve the accuracy of rainfall products from remote sensing techniques such as weather radars with quantitative and qualitative analyses.

I am from South Korea, and obtained my B.S. and M.S. with a dissertation on climate change effects on water resources from the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Pukyong National University in South Korea.
