Anton Kruger

Associate Professor

I am a research engineer at IIHR and the Iowa Flood Center. I am also a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Iowa. I came to the University of Iowa for a Ph.D. in engineering, and after graduating I accepted a position at IIHR. I later joined the ECE Department. At IIHR I work primarily with the water and air resources group, but also on instrumentation for a variety of research projects. I was part of the Iowa Flood Center team that developed cost-efficient stream stage sensors and now more than 250 of these sensors are installed on bridges around the state.
