I work in the areas of hydroinformatics, specifically on geospatial data analysis, and web-based flood damage and loss estimation systems for urban and agricultural areas. Currently, I am developing a geographic information and visualization system for Homeland Security with the guidance of Professor Ibrahim Demir.
I am originally from Trabzon, Turkey. I obtained a BS in civil engineering from Cumhuriyet University (2013), and a MS in hydraulics and water resources from the University of Iowa (2017).
