Dr. Gabrilel Villarini, faculty member in the UI College of Engineering and researcher at the Iowa Flood Center and IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering, and Ted Neal, faculty member in the UI College of Education, will facilitate a two-day workshop for middle and high school teachers addressing the following questions:

  • Is climate change happening in Iowa?
  • How could we teach that through a STEM approach?
  • How can I incorporate NGSS?
  • What is the data that drives the discussion?

Participation is limited to 25 TOTAL teachers.
