Living with Floods Forum | Iowa City

June 6, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Living with Floods forum, hosted as part of the Living with Floods project, will provide an opportunity to share the progress and community accomplishments that have been made since past flood events and to look ahead to work that still needs to be accomplished.

The June 6 Iowa City community forum will offer residents an opportunity to learn more about local flood-related issues, including the challenges, community successes, and ongoing recovery. Local speakers include Larry Weber, Director of IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering at the University of Iowa, Rick Fosse, Public Works Director for the City of Iowa City, Ellen Habel, Assistant City Administrator for the City of Coralville, and Rod Lehnertz, Director of Planning, Design, & Construction at the University of Iowa. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentations.

Community members can also watch the forum live on Iowa City’s public access television channel.
